Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter Album Merch
With the release of Cowboy Carter in late March, Beyonce changed herself in what might be the hardest way. The country-influenced record is a call to the Chitlin’ Circuit and a reclamation of Black participation in Country music, with references to Linda Martell, commentary from historic Black Country artist Brittney Spencer, and features by emerging artists Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts.
Like all of Beyonce tour merchandise albums, the project came with a suite of visually sophisticated and densely layered images that were meant to be an elaboration on its themes as well as an allusion to the history of Country music itself. From the “act ii Beyince” t-shirt, to the Cowboy Carter box set, the Beyhive can buy plenty of limited edition merch from the collection.
The most popular item is probably the limited edition Cowboy Carter vinyl. Available now on Supervinyl, the vinyl comes in four different colorways: black, white, red, and blue. The black vinyl shows a close-up of Beyonce with braided bangs and colorful beads, while the white vinyl is a more abstract image of Beyonce in sunglasses. The red and blue vinyl feature a full-body image of Beyonce wearing a cowboy hat.
